Visitation: A viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 17 from 3-7 PM at Devlin’s Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy.

Service: A blessing service will be held on Thursday, June 18th at 11 AM at the funeral home.


On Saturday, June 13, 2026, Gloria Gill Sutton of Pittsburgh, Pa passed away peacefully at Passavant Hospital in the North Hills surrounded by family. She was 97.

Gloria was born on August 12, 1928 to John and Delia Gill in New York. She was one of seven children. In her early years the family moved to Pittsburgh where she graduated High School and met the love of her life, Vincent Sutton. Gloria and Vincent were married in 1949 and started a family. They had six children, John, James (passed shortly after birth) Priscilla, Debbie, Richard and Delia.

Gloria was a homemaker and used to say that her children were her greatest achievement and she was never happier than when all of them were together. She credited her long life to always being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Vincent, son James, four brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by son’s, John Sutton (Pamela) of Kempner, Texas and Richard Sutton of Butler, Pa. Daughters, Priscilla Grover (James, deceased) of Pittsburgh, Pa, Debbie Frantti (Mike) of Verona, Pa, Delia Reiber (Tim) of Pittsburgh, Pa and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

    Hi ma I’m thinking about you. You know I come back to this page every once in awhile because its hard for me to accept the fact that you passed away it doesn’t feel real and it makes me very very upset and uncomfortable I went in your house to grab a few things and it was weird not seeing you in there or you getting up to give me a hug you know now I don’t like getting called peanut because that’s what you called me and I keep re-reading a card you wrote me for my birthday and I love it and I’m so so sorry for not seeing you when you were in rehab or not giving you a hug in the hospital I was scared to hurt you I love you so much and I’m always thinking about you-peanut
