Geraldine M. “Gerri” Fichter, 96, of Millvale passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 5, 2025 after a long and beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and kindness. Known by all for her gentle spirit and compassionate heart. Geraldine left an indelible mark on everyone who had the blessing of knowing her. Her warmth, patience, and unwavering care for others reflected the very best of who she was – a woman who led with love in all she did.

Whether through a comforting word, a listening ear, or her simple acts of kindess, Geraldine made every person feel valued and loved. Her family devotion and compassion will forever be remembered as the foundation of her life and the examples she leaves behind.

She was the daughter of the late Fred & Clara Steiner. Wife of the late Harry (Scotty) Fichter. Mother of Vaughn (Elyse) Fichter, Ron (Joanne) Fichter, Eric (Violet) Fichter and the lateJudith Johnson. Grandmother of Scott (Stephanie) Fichter, Shaun (Cherith) Fichter. Great-Grandmother of Aubrie, Aiden, Weston, and Parker Fichter.
