HENDRICKSON GEORGE C. Passed away peacefully at Vincentian Villa, Pittsburgh, PA, on Tuesday, October 1, 2013. Born in Youngstown, OH, graduated high school from Mt. Carmel, Niagara Falls, NY and attended seminary school at Mt. Carmelite Monastery in New Baltimore, PA. George started his career at PNC Bank, sorting checks, and over the course of 40 years, retired as Senior Vice President of Credit Policy in 1989. Preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Henry (Buzz) Hendrickson; sister, Ann O’Brien; and brother, Paul Hendrickson. He is survived by one brother, Charles (Bud) Hendrickson. Beloved husband of Marie (Bauer) for 63 years; loving father of seven children, Victoria I. Goodworth (Lee), Linda J. Heyde (Stephen), George C. (Kim), Greg B. (Pam), Mary A. Tenos (Greg), Carol A. Rossier (Charles) and Glenn R. (Sue); loving grandfather of 15 and great-grandfather of four. George traveled extensively, but always with Marie. He loved the game of golf and was a charter member of Wildwood Country Club. He spent the past 10 years writing about his life and his experiences, which he shared with family and friends. Visitation at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township, PA, on Thurs. 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Alexis Church, Wexford, PA, at 11 a.m. on Fri.
