Age 71, Of Ross Township, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023. Loving father of Kerin Sorby (Paul) and Ryan Duessel (Jenna); Proud grandfather of Clara, William, and Owen Sorby and Cali and Esten Duessel; Brother of the late Barbara Emminger-White, P. Scott Duessel, Patricia Ewing (Raymond), the late Richard Duessel, and the late Deborah Ryberg. Son of the late William and Mary (Karr) Duessel; Also survived by loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Gary was a proud retired member of Insulator #2. Friends will be received on Thursday 2-4 & 6-8PM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp. A funeral service will be held on Friday 11AM at Allegheny Memorial Park, 1600 Duncan Ave., Alison Park, PA 15101
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pirates Charities, 115 Federal St., Pgh, PA 15212.
I loved Gary, as everyone he came in contact did.
Gary was to always friendly and happy to be around, he will be missed at the Boys night out get togethers RIP brother
Just finding out about Gary’s passing. Spent some time with him recently, and this is a surprise. I miss him already. God Bless Gary and the rest of his Family.

I am very saddened by Gary passing he was a good friend and team mate at Bellevue High school Bulldogs 1967 and 1968. He was a fantastic guarterback I have many fond memories of playing with Gary .Rest in peace. Go Bulldogs.

I am sorry to hear of Gary passing. He was in my wedding in 1974. We had some good times back then.
