So sad to hear of Gary’s passing. It’s been some time but I clearly remember our last conversation. He called me to invite Terri and me to go riding with him and Tip. Well we were busy and didn’t hook up but knowing Gary I realize I was always invited and welcomed. As others have said he is one of the good guys. It was an honor my friend.

I have known Gary growing up until the present. I have always looked at him as the ultimate gentleman, willing to go out of his way to say a quick hello and an interest in what was going on in life. He was a joy to talk to share conversation. I had my own lil thoughts of him being another guy who refused to age and always be another America’s teenager! I love you brother you’re the worst neighbor ever🤣🤣😢😢🙏
Gary Herndon on my best friend list, the beloved “mayor” of West View, vacationed with him, played music with him, worked with him on electrician side jobs, partied hardy with him, our boys played youth football together, the most kind, generous, selfless, good looking guy in the world, 68 years old, loved by me and everyone fortunate enough to know him, died today. Lung cancer, I just saw him just six months ago. I’m pretty busted up right now feeling for his so many, many loved ones the pain of his passing. There is a deep cut in our hearts today. Gary was all about family and friends. He was that guy. I loved Gary.
