Fred was the 2002 AMSA Super Van Operator of the Year Winner and one of my drivers at George Moving.
It was an honor and a privledge to know him, work with him and nominate him for the award he so highly deserved. He was a great driver and mover and will be sadly missed.

I didn’t really know Freddy, but had met him at Iris’ and my wedding reception in Pittsburgh. He came up to congratulate us. Nice guy. I also spoke with him around his birthday this year, when he called to simply thank us for a birthday card. Fred seemed like a real upbeat guy, a nice member of the giant Lowe family clan! I’m glad that through Iris Lowe (O’Riley) I had the opportunity to meet him.

We are very sad to hear the news of “Uncle” Fred’s passing. In times like these I tend to remember the good times that I got to share with Fred. The bus trip to Canada where he bought me my first shot of uzo! The parties and family get togethers and going out to hear Titanium Hip. All those memories and many more I can’t think of right now will stay with me for a long time but what I will remember “Uncle” Fred for the most was his fun-loving attitude and his love of his family (immediate and extended family). You will be missed “Uncle” Fred but never forgotten.
