Frank J. Caracciolo, of McCandless Township, died Friday, Oct. 21, 2011. He was the beloved husband of 58 years to Norma M. (Carlini) Caracciolo; father of Mary Anne (Gary) Marquis, Lawrence (Diana) Caracciolo, Jeanne (John) Seserko, Dana (Brendan) Malcolm and Nancy Caracciolo; brother of Dorothy Fava, Phil Amantea and Joseph Caracciolo; also survived by 11 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Frank graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1953. He served in the Armed Forces from 1953 to 1955 and was stationed in Anchorage, Alaska. Frank was president of Buhl Optical Co., located on the North Side, for 44 years. He sold the company in 1991 and retired in 2002. He worked hard and loved the company he led and its employees. He was a devoted husband, father and last of all, an avid Steeler fan. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Ursula Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson s Foundation.
