John Imburgia

John Imburgia, 91, of Ross, formerly of Brighton Heights, died peacefully Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at his home. He was the beloved husband of the late Pauline; and loving father of Rose Marie (Jack) Manley and John J. He was preceded in death by siblings, Joseph, Rose Buffalini, Vince and Joanne. Also survived by many loving relatives and friends. John served in World War II and was a proud member of VFW Post 2754, the Catholic War Vets, Italian Sons & Daughters of America, the Garfield Club and the SS. Maria Lauretana. He was a machinist for Allis Chalmers, and enjoyed bowling and dancing, especially the jitterbug at all family functions. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, Ross. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Cyril of Alexandria Church.
