Evelyn (Furch)

At the proud age of 100, Evelyn Bartley of Zelienople, formerly of Ross Twp., passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021. She was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Furch; Wife of the late Eugene Bartley; Loving mother Terry Bartley of Port Orange, FL, Beth Bartley of Myrtle Beach, SC, Dr. John Bartley of Vasselboro, ME, Nancy Bartley of Chester Springs, PA, and Jim Bartley of Houston, TX; Proud grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 6. Friends will be received on Friday from 2-5PM and Saturday from 10-10:45AM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 806 Perry Hwy. Funeral Services will be held at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 920 Perry Hwy., on Saturday at 11AM. Evelyn was the former owner of the Perrysville Dairy Queen from 1967 to 1976. Evelyn was President of the North Hills Junior Women’s in 1958-59. The club was instrumental in getting Passavant Hospital built utilizing fundraisers and promoting awareness of the lack of hospital facilities in the area at the time. She was also a longtime member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and Order of the Eastern Star. Evelyn enjoyed her last years on the Trillium Floor at Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople. The family would like to thank the staff for the kindness and compassion, they are truly angels.
