Eugene Raymond O’Neill
Age 87, of Seven Fields, formerly of Baldwin, passed away peacefully on Sunday October 1, 2023 at his home. Eugene was born on July 27, 1936, son of the late Eugene W. and Sophia O’Neill. Beloved husband of the late Charlotte O’Neill, whom he married on July 11, 1959; Father of Karen (Tom) Doherty, Mitch (Sally), David, Kelly (Tony) Harris, Kristin (Tom) Keelan; Grandpap of Matthew (Kate), Megan, Chris (Carolyn), Elizabeth, Mallory, Adam, Alison, Amanda, and Luke; Great-grand father of Palmer, Landon, Lucy, Walker; Brother of Dennis (Shuna Zhao).
Gene worked for PNC for 32 years in sales, human resources and payroll services. Following his retirement in 1996, he worked part-time for many years as a ticket taker for the Pirates, Steelers, and Pitt Panthers, and was enthusiastic about automobiles and car shows.
Family and friends are welcome on Sunday from 2-6 pm at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10:30 am at Blessed Trinity Catholic Parish, St. Albert The Great Church. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Eugene’s name to The Bob Woodruff Foundation.
