Beloved wife of the late Ward E. Sanders; loving mother of Ward L. Sanders (Carol) of Edinboro and the late Mark A. Sanders; proud grandmother of Spring A. Sanders of Ithaca, NY. She is also survived by loving relatives, neighbors and friends. Elizabeth, age 95, of Passavant Retirement Community of Zelienople, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2015. She was born in Pittsburgh on January 1, 1920, the daughter of the late Louis A. and Anna M. (Blind) Smith. Elizabeth was a student of Perry High School, past member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and member of Rehoboth Lutheran Church. She was employed by the North Allegheny School System where she managed the cafeterias at the senior and junior high schools. At Elizabeth’s request, no calling hours will be observed. A Memorial Service and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Allegheny County Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice .
