Age 84, of Ross Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 28, 2021. Beloved husband for 59 years of Rita (Linkesh); Loving father of Todd (Lynn) and Troy (Kellie); Proud grandfather of Leah, Ashley, and Wyndsor; Brother of Mary Lou Hoffman, Sylvia Vitek, William(Ina Rae), Patricia Ann Spehar (Thomas), Virginia Matter, Alice Aguglia, the late Robert (survived by Carole), the late Marguerite Rockey, the late Joan Bischoff, the late John (survived by Jacqueline), and the late Larry (survived by Debra); Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Former employee of HJ Heinz. A memorial mass will be held at St. Teresa of Avila Church (Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish), 800 Avila Ct. Pgh, PA 15237 on Friday, July 9th at 10:30AM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 451 44th St., Pgh, PA 15201 or the Mario Lemieux Foundation, www.mariolemieux.org.

Dear Rita, I don’t know if you remember me, Sue Fisher. My husband, Bob, coached Todd in baseball and we all hung around together watching. I am saddened to hear about Ed. Bob died of Parkinson’s in 2012 and I still miss him. I hope you have lots of of support and love. Thinking of you.
