E. Kent Thorpe Jr., of Franklin Park, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012. He was the beloved husband of 55 years to Rosemarie (Keyser) Thorpe; father of Deborah E. Thorpe (Judy Foxworth), Tami A. Black and E. Kent Thorpe III (Dito Sudito); brother of the late Elizabeth “Betty” Galey; and grandfather of Ian and Ellen Black and Skylar Foxworth. Kent was a member of the North Hills Masonic Lodge F&AM No. 716. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills, where a blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Pitt Annual Fund, Park Plaza, 128 N.
