Dr. Robert E. Schneider, 85, of McCandless, formerly of Franklin Park, died Saturday, March 26, 2011. He was the beloved husband of 56 years to Loretta (Walsh) Schneider; father of Robert R. Schneider, Kim S. (Thomas) Gigliotti and Barbara (Michael) Baudler; brother of Margaret “Peg” Russell, Louis Schneider and Sarah “Sally” Reiling; grandfather of T.J., Brett and Brittany Gigliotti, Emily, Austin, Andrew and Jake Baudler; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Road, 724-772-8800. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday in SS. John and Paul Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions to SS. John and Paul Building Fund or a charity of your choice.
