of Connoquenessing Twp., formally of Ross Twp. Passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Born June 17, 1967 in Pittsburgh PA. Son of the late James and Mary Brink; Beloved husband of 35 years Betsy A. (Caye) Brink; loving father of Lauren A. Brink and Maggie M. Brink (Ricky Stamerra Jr.); Beloved brother of James D. Brink, Diane M. Brink, and the late Jeffery D. Brink (Surviving spouse Katie); son in law of Chuck and Clare Caye; Brother in law to Judy Hillner (Randy), Kathy Geiger, and the late Chuck Caye Jr.(Surviving spouse Diane) also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Doug worked for Verizon for over 24 years. He was loved by so many not only because of his unique sense of humor, but also for his willingness to help anyone in need. Doug could solve any problem and fix any situation that was asked of him. He was always doing projects and putting others needs before his own. Doug was the most loving husband, father, and friend to all. He is irreplaceable to everyone who knew and loved him. Though he is gone, his legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of those he impacted.
Friends received Monday, 3-7 p.m. at DEVLIN Funeral Home Inc, 806 Perry Hwy, North Hills. Mass of Christian burial in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, St. Athanasius Church, Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Everyone please meet at Church. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
I am so sorry for your loss Betsy and daughters. Doug was always our afternoon greater when he would walk Rue to get the mail or stop for the mail on his way home. We loved having Doug and you for neighbors. Prayers for your family.

Doug’s willingness to be of Selfless Service is also a testament to a life well lived, although one cut far too short.
