Douglas H Miller, 67 of Laurel Gardens passed away July 16,2025 after a courageous fight battling cancer.
He was the loving the son of Harry and Harriet Miller, brother of Cheryl (Paul) Dee, and Joyce Sohl. Doug was the loving father of Olivia Miller (Keith Lumley) who he loved so much.
He loved to fish, play poker, and spend time with family and friends.
To know Doug was to love him, he made friends with everyone, he was “Uncle Doug” to many.
Preceding him in death, his father Harry Miller, mother Harriet Miller, sister Joyce Sohl, niece Desiree Dee. Surviving his daughter Olivia, sister Cheryl, many nieces, nephews, and countless relatives and friends.
Friends will be received on Friday from 4-8PM at Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy., Pgh, PA 15229. A short prayer service will conclude the visitation at 7:45PM.
Please join us for the celebration of Doug’s life Sunday July 20th from 12-4 at the American Legion post 80, 172 6th Avenue Pittsburgh, Pa 15229.
Even if you do a “Doug Dip” stay for 2 drinks or set a timer for 45 mins. Let’s celebrate his courageous fight and the life he lived. He always wanted to go out with a party so let’s give it to him!!

Love this man so very much! Worked with him at AT&T in McCandless and Station Square. Doug was so much fun to be around with. He always had a positive attitude towards everything and if things were down, he would make it positive with his constant comedy. Rest in peace Doug! Keep the Lord laughing.

Deeply saddened by Doug’s passing. He was one of my pod mates and a real special person. I will miss him.
