Richard J. Langer, age 69, of Dallas, Texas (formerly of McCandless), passed away on June 24, 2025. Son of the late Regis (“Red”) and Eleanor (Straka) Langer. Loving father of Ryan (Christina) Langer and former spouse of Elizabeth Langer. Brother of Connie (the late Thomas) O’Lare and Michael (Grace) Langer, Sr. Uncle of Christine (Ian) O’Lare, Tracy (Alex) Leary, Steven (Katie) O’Lare and the late Michael Langer, Jr.
Although he lived in Texas, Richard never lost his love for Pittsburgh sports teams and was often the first to share updates with his Pittsburgh relatives. Since retiring a few years ago, he found joy spending time at Lake Whitney with his truck and trailer, where he enjoyed fishing, swimming, and biking.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Rich’s name.

Mike an Grace we are so sorry for your loss. Blessings and peace to you both.
Rich was a dear friend to many at both Business Interiors and Turnkey Project Services. His warm personality and willingness to help anyone in need made a difference to us all. Praying for the family – please know he had many friends that loved him –

Dean Harrell and I express our sincerest condolences to the Langer family. We were both fortunate to work with him for several years at both Business Interiors and Turnkey Project Services and we also share his love for riding. Grateful for our time together over the years, he will be missed but remembered with a smile.
Dear Connie and Mike and the entire Langer family. My sincere sympathy on the passing of Rich. He was my best friend when we were very young. One of our favorite things was taking turns pushing down the button/handle on the bread toaster at lunch. A silly little old memory. I made a $100 donation in Rich’s memory to the North Hill Food Bank located at Hiland Presbyterian Church.
Sincerely yours,
Chris Kairys
