Age 87 of McCandless, died quietly in her sleep on Wed. Feb 27, 2008, Daughter of the late Laura Agnus Hunter and Stanley H. Weaver. Beloved wife of the late Frank A. Gartner, Jr., adored Mother of Bill (Sherry) Henry, Dale Henry, Lisa Nintze-Gartner, and Frank A. (Kelli) Gartner III, devoted loving sister and best friend of Jane Dunn, cherished aunt of Lesle Dunn, Stephanie Glessner, and Pam (Floyd) Dierker, great aunt of three, grandmother of eight, and great grandmother of nine. Funeral Service to be held at St. Paul’s Luthern Church of North Park, 10301 Walter Rd. Allison Park, Sat. March 8 at 10 AM. In lieu of Flowers, charitable donations may be made in her name to Kane Regional Center, Call 412-369-2005 for info.

Our mother and grandmother was one of the greatest, sweetest, smartest, kindest most loving and caring human beings on the face of this earth. We wish she was back at home with us where she belongs and we will miss her forever. A great thanks to Devlin’s and the “family” for not giving us the correct funeral date, as my mother always said, we were the only family who really counted as we were the only ones who were truly there (pre-nursing home). Now, thankfully, she is at peace and away from the turmoil people caused in her life at the end. She is forever loved and forever missed.
