I’ve known DJ since 4th grade, and even as kids, his kindness stood out. He was the type of person who’d give you the shirt off his back, always with that big, unforgettable smile.

During my senior year, DJ, Steph, and I were lunch buddies—we leaned on each other through everything. That closeness stayed with us, and in these past few months, it meant the world to me that he started working near me. We’d grab an after-work drink a few times a week, and I always looked forward to hearing his voice, laughing over old memories, and catching up on life.

He’d talk about Gia with so much love, proudly showing off her photos and videos. He spoke often about Kim and how much he appreciated her cooking and being close to her again.

DJ gave the best hugs—warm, grounding, and full of heart. I’ll miss those moments, and I’ll miss him more than words can say.

My heart aches for your family. DJ’s love was always genuine, and it will never be forgotten.

DJ was a very very bright light in this grayish world. I’m so sad to hear of this news, may his daughter know her father was very loved and he will be deeply missed. Rest in peace friend

Kim & Greg, we are all beyond heartbroken. DJ was a reflection of your love. His gentle soul, his magnetic warmth, his Love for his daughter Gia—these things don’t vanish, they live on in all of our lives and souls.

DJ genuinely expressed his love, he always made me feel admired and respected. His hugs were full of meaning, full of heart, his sincerity is rare in this world.

DJ’s memory will always be wrapped in love.

Rest easy, little brother. Thank you for loving us so well.
