Dennis C. Harrington, Esq., of McCandless, died Saturday, May 9, 2009. He was the beloved husband of Tee Harrington; loving father of Mike Harrington, Ena Harrington, Lisa (Jack) Bulger, Kelly Harrington, Shawn (Aida) Harrington, Moira Harrington, Erin (Howard Shure) Harrington, Pegin (Bill) Foglia and Myles (Julie) Harrington; grandfather of Satya, Nahdia, Sahara, Tegar (Dennis), Deyllen, Deryl, Jesse, Natalie, Colleen, Tobias, Nora, Kieran, Dennis and Maurin. Friends received from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Friday at the T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial at noon Friday in St. Alexis Church, Wexford. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Augustine Seraphic Mass Association, Missions Office for the Benefit of the Missions in Papua, New Guinea, 3600 Butler St., Pittsburgh, PA 15201.

I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your father and husband. I was visiting the Devlin website to find out why my dad did not receive his WW2 marker when I saw Mr. Harrington’s obituary. My dad died in October after a long bout with Alzheimers. He was here with me. My mother died in 2006. I want you to know how special your family was to me when I was a child. You were like our own local Kennedies. My family respected you. I heard alot about Tee Harrington and of course went to school with some of you. I am living now in Indiana Pa.. My husband is an IUP prof and my twin daughters go to IUP. They are both English equestrians and Seniors in college. I am on a kidney transplant list. I used to be a History professor but had to quit when I had my first kidney failure. My heart is with you. Remember the laughter and the good times and they will temper the grief.
