Dennis E. Smith
Age 73, of Cranberry Twp., passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 following a brief illness. Born Feb. 17, 1948, son of the late Edmund and Doris (Champagne) Smith. Beloved husband of Mary (Joyce) Smith, whom he married on September 9, 1972; loving father of Eric (Rachel) Smith; Pappap of Tyler and Lana; also survived by his nephew, Mark, and nieces, Cheryl, Tracy, Jennifer, Mairead, Siobhan.
He was an avid golfer, known to frequent various Western PA golf courses with his son and closest friends. He was often found at the local YMCA or doing hundreds of laps in the backyard pool. However, he enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his two grandchildren, giving them whatever they wanted. Preceded in death by his brother Craig. Survived by his sister-in-law Helen (Craig’s wife). Also Survived by his sister Barbara Roman and husband Chris, and two great nieces Mackenzie and Kinsley.
Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday from 4-7 pm at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10 am at St. Ferdinand Church.

RIP Dennis. You will truly be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with Mary, Eric, your sister Barbara and entire family.

Rip Dennis, you were an absolute legend like family to me when I was growing up. Lots of found memories and lots of laughter especially of you and mam the two of you together were like a comedy act. You were a huge part of my childhood and will be missed by all.

RIP Dennis, you were one of a kind. I’m sure your infectious laugh is gracing the heavens right now.
We had the great pleasure of having Dennis as our friend and neighbor for 32 years. So many fond memories! Always loved Dennis’ positivity, and he definitely knew something about everything, and he was quick to share his insights!
This is such a great loss of a beautiful person and we wish peace and love to Mary, Eric, and family.
