Age 71, of Bellevue, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 16, 2022. He was the loving son of Louise and the late Peter Yovanovich; cherished brother of Joanne L. Garfold (Hugh) and Diane R. Yovanovich; Proud Uncle of Joseph (Emily) Garfold and Daniel P. Garfold (Harley); And thrilled Great Uncle of Anthony James; also survived by his aunt, Theresa Burns. Dave enjoyed music and played in bands in his younger years; Enjoyed playing the lottery, and sometimes even won! He was a great cook and hosted many dinners in the past. In addition to his family, Dave is survived by many great friends; Judy and Tim Stokes, Edie and Tommy Toner, Violet Smith, and her dogs that Dave loved, and Gerri Valliant- Dave’s good friend and favorite breakfast place! Friends will be received Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp. where a blessing service will be held on Wednesday at 11AM.

    I’ve known Dave since we attended kindergarten together- Elementary school – High School & Youngstown State – played together in a band for many years – He traveled to Montana to be in my wedding 1977.

    I’m so vwry sorry to hear of David’s passing. I’ve known him since I met his sister, Diane, in 7th grade. I’ll always remember our silly conversations! He was such a nice guy. He will be missed for sure ❤️
