David C. Bohn, age 67, of Ross Township, sadly and unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

He was born in Pittsburgh on August 27, 1957 to the late Clyde W. and Dorothy A. (Szarmack) Bohn. He is survived by his beloved wife Patty (Ross) Bohn.

Dave was preceded in death by his sister Amy L. Bohn. He is survived by his sisters Diane (Gregory) Peaslee and Marcy (Michael) Rackish, nieces Erica Peaslee and Michelle Rackish, nephews Ryan Peaslee and Mark (Hannah) Rackish, as well as numerous family and friends.

From a very young age, Dave was intrigued by anything mechanical. After graduating from North Hills High School and Beattie Technical School with Honors, Dave earned an Associates Degree in Electronics, and after working as an apprentice, Dave opened his own auto body shop in 1979. He grew the business from a simple one-bay shop to a thriving multi-building complex. Working on automobiles was a lifelong passion, and he enjoyed restoring and driving all types of vintage vehicles.

Dave valued hard work, honesty, integrity, his family and friends, and was active in his church. He loved the Lord, and he loved helping people. He would drop whatever he was doing to give someone a hand or provide needed assistance.

Friends will be received on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 6-8 PM, and Sunday, June 1, 2025 from 2-6 PM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15229.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday, June 2, 2025 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Coraopolis, 1443 Coraopolis Heights Road, Coraopolis, PA 15108. Everyone to meet at the church. Burial will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tetelestai Church, 899 East Hill Drive, New Kensington, PA 15068.

Dave, we were just visiting with you a few weeks ago at your mother’s wake. I can’t comprehend that now we’ll be at yours my old friend. Gosh, we go all the way back to high school days. I designed your businesses first sign. I watch you grow it from the small hole in the wall to a great and thriving business which you recently just sold, as you made your way into retirement, which unfortunately, you’ll never get to enjoy.

There will always be plenty of great memories, it’s sad that we won’t be able to make more of them. Rest in peace my friend.
