Age 85, of McCandless Twp., passed away surrounded by his loving family on May 9, 2016. Dan was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Betty. He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Hogg and her husband, Jim, of Franklin Park; grandchildren, Bryan and Brittany; sister, Irene Dodd; brother-in-law, Bill (Irene) Smith; sisters-in-law, Eleanor Smith and Janet (Skip) Binder; and numerous wonderful nieces and nephews. Dan was a veteran of the United States Military. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched with his exceptional love, generosity and courage. Friends received Wednesday, May 11, 2016, from 6-8 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. Services and interment private.
