So sorry to hear of my former co-worker’s passing! She helped me with advice thru my own breast cancer in 2008. Wonderful woman who is now an angel above us! Love you Colleen! Anna C.-SVSD

Colleen was the other nerd in the family, and the two of us understood each other better and more easily than I experienced with most other people in my life (being that us nerds can make a bit of an odd impression on folks!) Our conversations always flowed easily, and the easiest thing to say about us is that we liked each other. We lived not far apart during the first sixteen years of my life (before we moved to Denver), and I remember so many trips on the Ohio River Boulevard between her house and ours, uncountable family gatherings (her mom was my father’s older sister.) I feel so blessed that I got to see her a couple months ago here in Denver, sitting in the sun on our front porch, talking over all sorts of things, significant and insignificant, her fine mind hitting on all cylinders. Safe journey, my dear.

Colleen it has been a long time. I will always remember the good times at deep creek. you where like my 4th aunt. Always looking out for me and try to help me stay out of trouble. I will remember your love for dogs as it was a love we shared. The lake was always a little more fun when you and your dogs would arrive. Usually on a Friday or Saturday after I spent most of the week up there with my Grandma. You will truely be missed I’m sure you are up there with a cycle of your dogs all around you Roth and Fred.

We will miss our dear Colleen at future family gatherings. She has been a wonderful "aunt" to our grandchildren, Christine and Andrew, and a good friend to our daughter Elaine. May her light shine forever on all of us who love her.

Jay I am so saddened to hear of the death of Colleen. She was not only one of my best friends at Avonworth, but also one of my bridesmaids. We had a lot of laughs way back then. I hope she never lost her ability to make others giggle and laugh. She will be missed. Patty Frost Harris
