Age 67, known as Chrissy, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Christina was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on December 31, 1958. She was the daughter of late John Wood and Marta Finley (Norona); Wife of Matthew Rowe, of 27 years; Mother of Sierra Simcic (Adam Barnes) and Late Shannon Mullen (Randy Schuck); Grandmother to Sean, Khloe, and late Skylar Schuck. Aunt, half/stepsister, and close friend to many.
Christina graduated from North Allegheny High School. She then concentrated on horticulture under private study. She became a dog trainer, specifically for Dobermans. Christina later worked as a banquet server for about 20 years spanning the Pittsburgh area at venues such as Phipps Conservatory, Heinz Field, PPG, University of Pittsburgh, and Convention Center, where she served and met many celebrities and athletes. Christina also was known for her art that was sold at local shops and flea markets across Pennsylvania and Ohio. In her free time, Christina loved spending time in her garden, with family and friends, cooking homemade meals, fishing, as well as singing and dancing as she was filled with so much positivity and upbeat energy.
Services are private at this time, but family and friends will be notified when a celebration of life is scheduled. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you plant a tree in Chrissy’s honor. Follow the link at the bottom of this page to plant a memorial tree.

I was thinking of what to say. I had a dream this morning about her, it was like we were just talking to each other. I will truly miss her. We have known each other for over almost fifty years. Her first husband was one of my best friends. When Shannon was younger she could not say my name, so that’s where Bubba came about. We lost touch 5 or so years. But like I said she will be missed.
Our dearest Chrissy, I’m lost for words. I’ve known you for so long. Almost my whole life. I feel bad I haven’t seen you in such a long time. You were our families close and dear friend. I love you always. We were through a lot together at one point in our lives. I will always cherish our memories together, the good and the bad. I will miss you always and forever. Love always JoZeppi
