Charles Raymond Craig “Charlie”

May 4, 1943 – November 21, 2024
Charles Raymond Craig, lovingly known as “Charlie,” passed away peacefully on November 21, 2024, at the age of 81. Born on May 4, 1943, Charlie lived most of his life in Bethel Park, PA, before moving to New Sewickley, PA, to be closer to his son and daughter-in-law. Charlie was the devoted father of Arthur Craig and his wife, Elizabeth “Liezl” Craig, of New Sewickley. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Donna Lawson Craig, as well as his siblings, Jean Klein and Joseph “Sonny” Craig. Charlie found joy in life’s simple pleasures—spending time outdoors, tending the grass on his son’s farm, and sharing a special bond with his best friend, their late dog Nero. Known for his kindness, humor, and compassion, Charlie was a wonderful friend and neighbor. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, from 2-4, 6-8 pm at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry Township, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.

Art…Emily shared with me the passing of your dad. Chuck was a good man who was very proud of you. Gary and I would run into him at Franks and he glowed talking of you and the life you built. I often think of your mom. Donna was one of a kind. I quote her often saying “ why not me” . When she was sick she just did not complain. Always laughing. Our quilting nights are a very fond memory. Live well in their memory. We wish you the best in life. Laura and Gary Kirsten
