Charles “Chuck” Dumanski, age 74, passed away unexpectedly on January 19, 2024, in Avalon, Pennsylvania. Born on October 8, 1949, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Mary and Charles Dumanski.
Chuck is survived by his sisters Theresa Knaebel (Karl), Kathy Schultz (Bob), Monica Wehrheim (Bill) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Chuck was a 4-year Navy veteran. He graduated from Boston University with a degree in accounting and worked as an accountant first in Boston and later in San Francisco where he lived for almost 40 years. In July 2024 he moved back to Pittsburgh to be closer to his family. He enjoyed music, movies and coin collecting. Also, Chuck was an avid lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers football fan.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 8th at 10:30AM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to the charity of your choice.
Monica, I am so sorry hearing about the passing of your brother. My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your whole family in this trying time. Prayers to you all. I just heard of his passing.
I used to go see the Pittsburgh Steeler games with Chuck at a bar in San Francisco. He loved football movies and music. Sorry to hear this news now. Enjoy your next Frontier Chuck ! Phil Habegger

I remember Chuck from Annunciation, I believe he was an altar boy. Thinking of you all at this time. I hope to see you in Pittsburgh!
