Cathleen Ann Friedl
Age 69, of Adams Twp., passed into the Lord’s presence after a brief battle with cancer on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones. Born May 17, 1954, daughter of the late Richard and Lillian (Schran) Grundler. Beloved wife of Lawrence F. Friedl; loving mother of Joslynn (Jesse) Tatterson, Lauren Friedl, and the late Jonathan L. Friedl; grandmother of Hayden and Quinn Tatterson; also survived by loving friends and relatives.
A loving wife and mother, Cathy spent the years when her children were young as a homemaker. For the past 16 years, Cathy faithfully ministered, served and advocated for women and youth through Family Guidance (Pittsburgh) and Fishbone Ministries (Butler).
Cathy’s dedication impacted and shaped many lives through these community programs.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Tuesday at 11 am at Northway Christian Community Church, 12121 Perry Hwy., Wexford PA to celebrate Cathleen’s life and legacy.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to Family Guidance or Fishbone Ministries. Giving information can be found on each organization’s website.
