Carol A. Marino
Age 81, of Ross Twp., formally of Scott Twp., daughter of the late John and Theresa Zaruba, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 33 years, Francis J. Marino; and her beloved son David M. Brammer.
Loving mother of Linda (Tom) Fish, Lori (Michael) McGoogan and Erin Brammer; loving stepmother to Tina Christiansen, Donna (Don) Orr and Tony (Linda) Marino; very proud Nunny & Granny to Jaimye (Adam), Kenny, Michael (Holly), Evan, Katie, Amy, Erica, Michael, Sean and Emmalee; great grandmother to Olivia, Christian and Anna.
Carol was employed for 28 years with the PA State Worker’s Insurance Fund. After retiring in 2002, she spent time enjoying special “girls” trips and dinners, creative scrapbooking, and most notably spending time with her family.
The family asks that you make precious memories with your loved ones, raise a toast to enduring friendships, and honor her memory by living each day to the fullest with family and friends.
Private family services will be held at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry on Friday January 8th and Carol will be laid to rest at The National Cemetery of The Alleghenies with her husband Frank and son David.
A “Celebration of Carol’s Life” will be held in the Springtime this year.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Carol’s name to the Susan G. Koman breast cancer foundation.
A heartfelt Thank You to the Staff at Wexford Healthcare for taking care of Carol for many years (especially during the pandemic), and previously caring for Frank and David.
