January 01, 1970

The world has lost Barbara M. Ritchey (Tender). She is a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, neighbor and colleague.

Barbara was 65 years young and passed peacefully at home. She was born January 5, 1956, in Pittsburgh, PA and is the beloved daughter of Jack Tender and the late Mary Ann Tender. She is the loving mother of Monica M. Ritchey (Jeff Gartley) and David J. Ritchey; grandmother to Gianna and Morgan; beloved sister of Diane McMurray (Bud Haney) and Jacki Pahler (Gregg); former wife of David J. Ritchey, Sr.; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Barb loved to love on people. She was always using her love of cooking to bring joy to her family. Her special interests include bingo, camping and she enjoyed the casino. Her crocheted blankets wrapped every baby in her life with love. She would do anything for anyone. She was caring, hard working and loving like no other. Her smile was infectious and she brightened any room she walked into.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life on Thursday, July 29th, 2021 at Devlin Funeral Home in the north hills of Pittsburgh, PA., 806 Perry Hwy, Pgh 15229. Visitation is from 2-4pm, and 6-7:30pm with an evening service to immediately follow.

God has chosen to take you sooner than you deserved. Until we meet again, may you Rest In Peace.
