Peacefully, after a long illness, Arthur D. Wunderly of Ross Township, passed away on June 30, 2023. Art was born in Pittsburgh. He was the son of the late Arthur H. and Angela (Ober) Wunderly. Art was the very beloved husband for 38 years of Joan (Lacki) Wunderly. He was the loving father of Brandon Wunderly of Ross Township, Brooke (Gerard) Conicelli of Newton Square, PA and the late Christopher Wunderly. Art was the brother of the late Brother Gerard Wunderly, S.M. He was the adoring Pap-Pap of CeCe and Charlie Conicelli. Art was the son-in-law of Jennie Lacki (late Theodore) and the brother-in-law of Robert Lacki. He is also survived by his kidney donor and close friend, Carl (Mary Pat) Tabor. Art’s best buddy was the family pug, Gizmo.

He was a graduate of North Catholic High School and Duquesne University. Art was a postal worker for over 39 years. He was a wonderful family man and had a deep faith in God. Art was a fan of Pittsburgh sport teams and professional wrestling. Art’s favorite activity was spending time with his family.

The Wunderly family would like to thank Carl(Chip) Tabor for his selflessness and courage in giving Art a new lease on life. Also, we would like to thank the AGH Transplant Team for the wonderful care they provided Art for many years. Special thanks to Shauna Oleinacz, his transplant coordinator, who was always there for comfort and support. Life is a gift. Support organ donations.

Friends will be received at the Devlin Funeral Home, Inc., 806 Perry Highway, Pgh,PA 15229 on Sunday, July 2, 2023 from 4:00 P.M. -7:00P.M. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Marianist Mission, Mount Saint John, 4435 E Patterson Road,
Dayton, Ohio 45481-0001.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, St. Sebastian Church, 311 Siebert Road, Pittsburgh PA 15237  on Monday July 3, 2023 at 10:30 AM.
