Andrew Zamba

Age 90 of Paramount Senior Care, formerly of Levittown and Freeland, PA. The son of the late Andrew and Mary Zamba of Freeland, PA. Andy served as a US Army Staff Sergeant in WWII as a part of the 702nd Tank Battalion. He earned a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star for his brave and noble service. After the war Andy went on to earn a Bachelors Degree from Penn State University in Engineering and retired from Roebling Sons Co. and later Cabot Medical Corporation. He was the beloved husband to the late Edna Zamba (Smith) for over 70 years; Loving father of John E. Zamba (Sandy), Marilyn A. Richards (Robert), and was also preceded in death by his young son Andrew Zamba and great granddaughter Camryn Surman; Proud grandfather of Michael C. White (Jeanette), Matthew E. White, Andrew G. Doe, and Laura A. Surman (Eric); also survived by 8 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME of CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Rd., Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 (724) 772-8800, on Saturday, May 24th at 10:30 AM.
