Of McCandless Twp, Passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, born December 24, 1930 in Bellevue, PA. Beloved husband of 60 years Donna P. (Rusch) Schwartzbauer; loving father of Randy M. Schwartzbauer (Joan Trexler) , Robert “Bob” Schwartzbauer, Dana L. Scholl (Ken) and Darla J. Steigerwald (Chuck Steinmetz); brother of Robert Schwartzbauer the late Jack Schwartzbauer, Thomas Schwartzbauer, Marie Stromoski, Judy Bujalski, Norma Darrall, Margaret “Peg” Vassil; proud grandfather of John Michael, Natalie, Randy Jr., Joshua, Natalie, Natasha, Kyle, Scott, Cody and Sarina; great grandfather of Anastasia, Wes, Loki and Marleigh. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Albert was the loving, faith based patriarch of the Schwartzbauer family. He proudly served in the Army & was a survivor of the Korean War. He worked most of his career at the State Correctional Institution of Pittsburgh. Albert was a longtime member of the Garfield & German Clubs in Pittsburgh. He was a wonderful neighbor to all. He loved to tell the stories of his life, hunt, fish, play bingo, vacation, go to the casino and watch old movies. Most of all Albert found joy in life through the time he spent with his beloved family and playing with their dog Gizmo. The family would like to offer a special thanks to Transitions Hospice and Quality Living Care team.
