Mr. Smallwood was a very nice man. He was always kind to us kids growing up. Later in life when I would see him it was always great to stop and chat. You always smiled when you talked to him. Deepest sympathies to the family. We love you all.
So sorry to hear of his passing. Al was a good friend to me in high school and beyond; I was an usher at his wedding to Donna and I remember them both fondly. He was a true friend.
We have such great memories of your father! He was such a good son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend! The great get togethers with the Smallwood clan were always fun and being around such a good hearted person like your father was always a pleasure. I also remember the special closeness he had with his brother Bob and the compassion he displayed during Bob and Sue’s difficult times. I personally recall spending a number of hours just sitting around with both of them talking about sports, golf, life issues or the next bus tour he had to take. Al & Bob were “peas of a pod” and had so much goodness in their hearts. AL used to always thinks Joyce was so funny…and she in turn would just love his smile and laughter. Just a gem of a guy!
Sorry we couldn’t pay our respects in person…but please know that your dad is in our thoughts and prayers! We pray for the repose of his soul and have faith that he’ll be reunited with your mom in eternal salvation!

Sorry for your loss. I went to school with al from 6th grade on. He was a great guy.
Sorry for Your Loss I will always remember all the bus trips we did together throughout the years and all the golf outings with him and his brothers around the area and on a few trips when we had spare time to find a course to play he could of played Pro he taught me some great techniques to improve my game
I had the privilege of working with Al at Lenzner. He was always a gentleman and always made sure our tours were enjoyable and safe for our passengers. My condolences to his family. He will always be fondly remembered.
Mr. Smallwood was my elementary school bus driver. I remember him driving Bus 3 bringing me home from afternoon kindergarten at Ohio Township Elementary 36 years ago. Later, I would see him and his brother Dave at Lenzner’s. He always kept an eye out for me and for my brothers on our busy road, and I know my parents were grateful. From all of the Wibles, please accept our condolences.
Sorry for your loss my family sends our thoughts and prayers.
