Marilyn J. Campbell, age 89, of Valencia, formerly of Wilkins Township, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 14, 2017. Born July, 16, 1928, daughter of the late Robert S. and Ruth James. Marilyn worked for many years at Sears and was a very active member at Wilkinsburg Baptist church. She will be remembered for her kind heart and the compassion she showed to her husband and three children. Beloved wife of 68 years to Earl H. Campbell; loving mother of Laura (the late James) Bamford, Ronald (Rita) Campbell, and Glenn (Marian) Campbell; proud grandmother of James, Kelly, Allison, Nicholas, Madeline, Gregory, Emily, Grant, and Kathleen. Also survived by two great grandchildren and her sister Margaret (the late George) Scharnberg.
Family and friends will be received Monday from 3-7 PM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Rd., Cranberry Twp. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 AM at Cranberry Community United Presbyterian Church, and everyone is asked to meet at church. Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Park, Monroeville.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Barnabas Free Care Fund or to the Cranberry Community United Presbyterian Church in Marilyn’s name.
