Eileen Laux Quinn, 90, of Cranberry Township, passed away peacefully on July, 28, 2026.
She was born on August 24, 1935.
Eileen is survived by her husband, Richard “Dick” Nussbaumer; her loving daughter, Beverly
Quinn-Huston (Thomas Huston), and her sister, Judith Holterhoff. She was preceded in death by
her beloved son, Richard Quinn (Charlene) and first husband, Robert Quinn.
Eileen was the proud grandmother of Matthew, Mark, and Caitlin Quinn, whom she adored. She
was also delighted to be the great-grandmother of Harmony, Ella, Sidra, Jonathan, Sophia,
Ryan, Sean, Aidan, Dominick, Talula, and Brooklyn.
She was stepmother to Randy Nussbaumer, Richard Nussbaumer, and Regan Smith, and her
five step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces
and nephews, her cherished “Y” buddies, her church friends, and many other dear friends who
became family throughout her life.
Eileen dedicated her career to serving others as a Pittsburgh Police Detective and later as a
County District Attorney Investigator.
A devoted Catholic and member of Divine Grace Parish, Eileen faithfully attended daily Mass
and was active in the Women’s Club. She was an avid reader and loved to sew, especially for
her family. She had an adventurous spirit and a lifelong passion for travel, which took her to
more than 50 countries around the world. She embraced every opportunity to experience new
cultures, meet new people, and create lasting memories through her travels.
Eileen also enjoyed walking endless miles with her numerous friends, sharing stories, laughter,
and companionship along the way. Her warmth, kindness, generosity, and joyful spirit touched
everyone who knew her.

he will be remembered for her unwavering faith, remarkable strength, adventurous spirit, and
deep love for her family and friends. Her shining personality and beautiful legacy will live on in
the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 from 2-4, 6-8 pm at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry Township, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 10 am at Divine Grace Parish, St. Ferdinand Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Eileen’s name to The Divine Grace Women’s Club, or The Cranberry Township Library.

Beverly and family, I am saddened by the loss of this amazing lady. It was always so great to be in her welcoming presence. She always had the look of merry in her eyes and made us feel special. What an accomplished life she lived! It won’t be the same at daily Mass without her. Will miss seeing you out and about in stores and at church events.. I have to say though, her absolute greatest achievement was that of motherhood as evidenced by her loving and devoted daughter who was always happily by her side. Rest easy Mrs. Quinn!
Aunt Eileen made me feel loved and special. She was strong, resilient and yet very kind. I have the silver dollar coins, the “mug shot” photos from her giving us a tour of work when she was a detective, the memories of Kennywood visits and a few terrible towels hanging up in my NJ home to remind me of her and her power and pride in being an aunt to me and my siblings and her love and pride in her city! She was a fun aunt with a smile and laugh that made us happy.

I loved Eileen . We walked together, Swam together at the Y and enjoyed discussing our families. I will miss her so much.
Every time I was with her she was always smiling. We hit it off. I loved talking to her. Treated me like family. I will me our chats. RIP Beautiful Lady.

I Have seen Eileen and Bev for years and st Ferdinand daily mass honered to both beautiful kind and caring women the apple did not fall far from the tree I also do comfort blankets with Bev GOD has surely prepared her place in heaven!
