Walter R. Neibel, age 95, of Cranberry Township, PA, passed away on May 30, 2026, at his home at Ridgecrest at Cranberry Woods.
Walter was born in Brooklyn, NY, on May 26, 1931, to Walter and Mary Ellen Neibel.
Walter met the love of his life, Bernardine McGrellis, while working at the Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City. He married Bernadine on June 30, 1951, in Brooklyn, NY. Walter and Bernadine lived in various places, eventually settling in Washington Crossing, PA. They were happily married for 67 years.
Walter was a veteran, serving in the US Coast Guard during the Korean War.
Walter graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from Fairleigh Dickenson University in 1970. Walter achieved the status of Licensed Professional Engineer. Walter spent most of his career at Mobil Oil. During his time with Mobil, they spent 5 years in Tokyo Japan.
Walter enjoyed golf, skiing, sailing, and driving around in his Porche Carrera 4.
Survivors include his son Kenneth, his two daughters, Karen (Michael) Labarre and Patricia (Alan , deceased) Fischer, and his two grandchildren, Eric Fischer and Sarah (Marshal) Labarre Bratten
Walter was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Bernadine, and his brother Kenneth.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 10:30 am at Sts. John and Paul Church, St. Luke The Evangelist Parish.
