Mark J McFarland of North Hills, Pittsburgh, passed away on May 24, 2026, at the age of 88.
Born on April 28th, 1938 in McKeesport, PA. Mark was the son of Mark and Elizabeth. Mark McFarland graduated from Oliver High School and went on to serve honorable in the United States Air Force as an Airman, First Class.
He worked for General Electric, he was a local small business owner and finally retired after 26 years working for UPS.
He enjoyed woodworking, classic jazz music and trips to Myrtle Beach.
Mark is survived by his two daughters, Vicki (Philip) Ackerman, and Carol (Floyd) McFarland, and his son Mark (Denise) McFarland II. He is also survived by his three grandchildren: Kelly, Mark III, and Brennan. Preceded in death by Joann McFarland and a dear friend, Barbara Jackson.
