Barbara Ellen Horner
Age 83, of Odenton, MD,formerly of McKees Rocks, PA passed away on October 19, 2025. Born July 31, 1942, daughter of the late Stephen and Caroline Nagy. Beloved wife of the late Arnold G. Horner; loving mother of Marty (Lisa) dear grandma of Caroline; sister of the late George Nagy and the late Patricia Madey

For decades after her husband’s passing, Barbara dedicated her life to children. First as a teacher’s aide at Creative Gardens in Crofton, MD where she spent 25 wonderful years. However, following that her greatest joy was found in her role as a grandmother, and her bond with Caroline was her most treasured gift. They spent much of her later years together and her pride and unconditional love for Caroline was always evident.

Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake or the Anne Arundel County Public Library in her name.
