Thank you for your Military service and service to others.
Tim stood up for what he believed and was never afraid of asking for what he/his group wanted/needed. I am thankful for having the opportunity to have talked with him many times over the phone.
I am saddened for you Patty and the rest of the family/friends.
I pray for comfort, for healing, for peace.
So sorry for your lost, Patty. June and I were really looking forward to visiting with Tim and you at the 377th reunion this Fall. We will keep you in prayer.
Ron and June Coleman
Patty, so sorry to learn of Tim’s passing. Although I served with the 377th long after Tim he is and always will be a brother.
And Now We Say Goodbye
Great sadness fills our hearts today
as pipes and drums, in slow march play.
A comrade’s fallen by the way,
And now we say goodbye.
This hero to the very end
Was more than just a casual friend,
Who would a stranger’s life defend,
And now we say goodbye
But we shall cherish, all our days,
The character this life portrayed
With sacrifice so freely made,
And now we say goodbye.
The hand salute, o’er Stars and Stripes,
And distant skirl of highland pipes,
Give last farewell with hero’s rights,
And now we say goodbye.
While here on Earth, you gave your best.
Now in the Master’s arms you rest.
T’is by your memory we are blessed.
And now we say goodbye.

We survived two tours in Vietnam, and thought we were immortal. Then we realized our survival was really God saying he had more for us to do. So we continued doing our best and giving back to society. Now God has looked down and said Tim, it’s time for you to rest. From all your 377th brothers, Rest in Peace Tim. You’ve earned it.

Tim influenced so many from each of his experiences including bringing a bunch of relics from the 60’s back together.

Tim was my friend and coworker while we served in the 377th Security Police Squadron, Tan San Nhut Air Base, Vietnam. We were there together in 1968-69.

I will never forget Tim and I want the family to know he was loved and respected by many of his brothers he served with in the Air Force.
