Of Laurel Gardens, on Friday, March 19, 2021. Born January 13, 1953, in Pgh., PA. Son of the late Louis and Julia Kurtek; beloved husband of 40 years to Ellen A. (Freyermuth) Kurtek; loving father of Richard W. and John J. Kurtek; beloved brother of Linda L. Dumann (Dean), Louis J. Kurtek, Jr. (the late Denise), William G. Kurtek, and Karen M. Kello (James); also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Friends received Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. Friday’s celebration of Life will be open to all family, friends and public members of the community. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to Faith Lutheran Church in Laurel Gardens, 161 6th Ave Pittsburgh Pa 15229.

    My sincere condolences to the kurtek family. I can remember my cousin Ricky when I was a little boy and my brother Mark we would go on camping trips with our family to the west. Ricky would always seem jovial and tease me about my name being Gary Crosby. I suppose I looked like one of the Crosby kids when I was young.
