Miles J. McGoff, of Marshall Township, died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011. He was a son of the late Myles and Laura McGoff; loving brother of Anna Mae Robie and the late Andrew McGoff, Fred McGoff, Vera Morrison and Arlene Collins; uncle of Drew, Michelle and Justine Robie, Linda Mackaly, Donna Rutherford and the late Walter Morrison; great-uncle of Otto, Anna, Darren, Diana, Brian, Laura, Maliya, Makenzie, Owen, Nicole and Eric; and dear friend of Jacqueline Meyers. Also survived by many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Miles worked at Mine Safety Appliances Co. (MSA) in the Callery Division for many years. He held many patents for various safety breathing devices and was former part-owner of Dambach Lumber and Supply. Miles was a sailor and an avid skier. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills. A blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. John Neumann Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15212.

We are so sorry for your loss. We loved Miles dearly and considered him a member of our family. He was truly one of a kind. He never failed to make us laugh. We will miss our Friday Night dinners with him and the crew. Thanks for all the laughter, Miles. We will miss you dearly.
