Wyatt Edwin Bartley
April 13, 2018 – December 13, 2024
With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved son, Wyatt Edwin Bartley, on December 13, 2024.
Born on April 13, 2018, Wyatt faced life’s challenges with extraordinary courage and grace, living with a rare genetic condition known as DOORS syndrome. In his six remarkable years, Wyatt became a source of endless inspiration, touching the hearts of all who knew him through his resilience, determination, and radiant spirit, always surrounded by the unwavering love of his family.
Wyatt is survived by his devoted parents, Amos and Heather Bartley; and his treasured big brother, Alexander Lorenz Bartley, who was his greatest companion and protector; his grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his uncle, B.J. Zerbe, and his grandfather, Audley J. Bartley, lovingly remembered as “Grandpa Purple Grape.”
Wyatt’s bright smile and joyful presence left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He thrived in the nurturing community of the D.T. Watson Institute, a place where he was deeply loved and supported.
To honor Wyatt’s memory, his family kindly requests that donations be made to the D.T. Watson Institute in lieu of flowers, ensuring that other children can continue to benefit from the exceptional care and programs that helped Wyatt shine so brightly, https://www.thewatsoninstitute.org/about-us/giving/donate/
Though his time with us was far too short, Wyatt’s light will forever illuminate our hearts.

Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday from 6-8 pm, and again on Thursday from 9-10:20 am at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry Township, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township. A Funeral Service celebrating Wyatt’s life will be held on Thursday at Sewickley Presbyterian Church, at 11:30 am.
