Dear Mary Ann, Carol, Bill, Diane and families,
Losing a loved-one is never easy. However, it is a reminder of a life well-lived with a profound impact upon so many! We pray that, though the days ahead will be difficult, one day in the not too distant future your tears of sadness will be replaced by gentle smiles as you fondly recall the beautiful memories that each of you hold within your hearts! May God bless all of you. You are in our prayers.
We will remember the Steeler parties, the Christmas dinners, anniversary celebrations and just spending time together with love and laughter over these many years. May God pour His comfort and strength over the Appelt family. You are in our hearts and prayers.
My dad and “Uncle Bill” were best man in each other’s wedding, and we kept in touch throughout the years. It was always a pleasure talking to him – he was so easy going with a canny sense of humor. Wishing you well, Aunt Mary Ann.
Growing up our families shared many activities together; Picnics at North Park, Morraine State Park, and our houses. I always enjoyed “Mr Appelt” (I still can’t call him Bill). He was fun to be around.
Mr. Appelt and family were our next door neighbors. He was truly one of the good guys…
Carol, Sorry for your loss. We are here for you.
My husband, Bob Wolff, (deceased almost six years) and I were close friends of Bill and Mary Ann for over 60 years. Together we raised kids, went on picnics, had countless birthday parties, get togethers, played cards, and shared good and bad times. The memories are special. We were privileged to have such a friendship over so many years. Peace and love to Mary Ann and family.
Bill was a colleague of mine at AT&T for all of his 37 years there. Pleasant and congenial to all. He will be fondly remembered and missed.
Carol,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you in the loss of your dad.
I always remember Mr. Appelt as a kind , soft spoken man always with a smile and twinkle in his eye. Prayers for peace and comfort to all of the family and extended family
