Service: Saturday 10:30 a.m. Victory Church, Cranberry Twp.

William Camp, 81, Pine Township, formerly of Beaver Falls and Rochester, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday October 17, 2017. Born June 5, 1936 in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late Louis and Mary Grace Camp. He was the loving husband to Sandy Camp (Squires) for 58 years.

He was a 1954 graduate of Beaver Falls High School, a US Marine Corp Veteran, and active member of Victory Family Church. A lifelong entrepreneur, he and his late brother Jim opened Fast & Friendly Food Store in Beaver Falls in the late 1960s, which grew into a chain of convenience stores located throughout Beaver County. He then purchased and operated several supermarkets in Beaver County before finally building and operating the Rochester and Chippewa Giant Eagles. He sold his businesses in the early 2000s to spend more time with his family.

He enjoyed running his businesses and was an avid golfer, but nothing was more important to him than his family and serving others. His passion was to help people in any way that he could. From charitable donations to buying lunch for a stranger, his heart was always to help others.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Nick and Jim Camp, two sisters Toni Piccalo and Mary Demassa. Brothers-in-law Pete Costanza and Johnny Piccalo, sisters-in-law Alda, Donna, and Dagne.
He is survived by his wife Sandy (Squires), five children, William Jr., his wife Joelene and their daughter Mia of Cincinnati, OH; Steven and his children Alexis, Steve Jr., and Anthony of Kissimmee, FL; Chris, his wife Julie and their daughters Courtney, Christa, Camryn and Cassidy of New Brighton, PA; Alicia Tresky and her children Caleb and Joshua of New Castle, PA; Kevin, his wife Mindy and their children Marissa, Michael, and Gianna of Beaver, PA; his sisters Philomena Costanza of Aliquippa, PA; Rita Brown and her husband Danny of Cornelius, NC; and his brother Louis of Cornelius, NC, as well as many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Friday from 2pm – 4pm and 6pm – 8pm at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Twp. And again, Saturday morning from 10 – 10:30am at Victory Family Church, Cranberry Township. Service will be held Saturday at 10:30am at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Victory Family Church, 21150 US-19, Cranberry Township, PA 16066
