William Glesner

Age 76, of North Hills, on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004; beloved husband of Dolores G. (Greenan) Glesner; beloved father of Kathleen G. Whitehead (John) of Bel Air, MD, Ann Wilkinson and William G. Glesner (June) of North Hills; grandfather of 11, Michael J. Whitehead, Holly K. Stevenson, Becky Wenger, Laura Glesner, Jason Davies, Jeremy Davies, Melissa Davies, Eric Bachner, Kristen Bachner, Kenny Wilkinson and Brooke Wilkinson; great-grandfather of Terner M. Whitehead. Bill was preceded in death by one sister, Eleanor Glesner and a brother, Ellis Glesner. Bill was owner of Glesner Piano And Organs, Inc. on Babcock Blvd. for over 40 years. He was member and past president of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild. Bill was a supporter of many community organizations and was a member and past president of North Suburban Lions Club. Bill loved automobiles and was an avid antique car buff. Bill shared his enthusiasm by becoming one of the founders of the North Hills Historic Auto Club and he has been a lifetime member. He was also a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America, the Buick Club and the Packard Club. Of the many cars that he owned in his lifetime, the Packard was his favorite automobile. Bill was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Allison Park. Friends received Monday & Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills.
