Beloved son of the late Walter, Sr. and Mary (Miller) Layfield; Loving brother of Muriel Meyers of FL, Jane Olejniczak of Carnegie, Mary Cochrane of Cabot, Frances Berman of Braddock Hills, Esther Galayda of the North Shore, the late Grace Shockey, and the late Patricia Haines; Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be in St. Peter’s Parish, 720 Arch St., Pgh, PA 15212 on Friday at 9:30AM with interment to follow at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery.
