I was shocked to hear about Walt. He was my beloved brother Gregg Jones friend till the end
They met years ago as young ironworkers and became much more than friends. They shared so much of there lives together outside of work. Walt and his family would come to Gregg s home and there daughters were about the same ages so they became friends too. My brother and Walt would talk on the phone for hours . Walt told me they would watch a football game via talking on the phone. Gregg called him a also. My brother at 51 had a heart attack unexpectedly and Walt was one of the first people I called he was a pallbearer and my mom passed away jan 2018 and he also was a pallbearer for my mom. I would talk on the phone to him when I needed support. Fly high Walt and tell Gregg hi and you and him have a lot of catching up to do. You will be missed.
Deepest sympathies and prayers of comfort. I will always remember Walt as one of those people who never said never nor let circumstances define him or his life. Rest in Peace!
I can hear your voice in my head, Walt…and your laugh. You will be missed. ❤️
Heather, I am so sorry for your loss. I pray that you and your sister find strength and comfort during this time. It is evident that your dad is loved and will be missed. May he rest in peace.
sorry for your loss will keep you and your family in our prayers,
Sending our sympathies to Heather, Sarah and family. I am lucky to have known such a unique individual. He loved his daughters they were his life. I will never forget his wonderful spirit. Walt was always happy go lucky and ready for anything. Somehow things in the neighborhood will never be quite the same without him. Sending Love and comfort, The Lions
