Age 67, of the North Side, passed away comfortably and peacefully on December 17, 2015. Loving father of Eric Zarko and his wife, Kim, Kala and her husband, John Herak; proud grandfather to Dalton and Zach; loving brother of Geri and Dave. Preceded in death by brother, Bob, and the mothers of Eric and Kala. Beloved companion of and best friend, Maureen Platt. Also survived by many nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, December 20, 2015, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 806 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15229. Funeral Mass will be at Holy Wisdom, St. Boniface Church on Monday at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society, http://wpahumane.org/
